Adam Tamashasky

I grew up in Ohio, and since 2000 I've lived in the D.C. area with, first, my wife, and then, one by one, my three daughters. After attending the University of Dayton, I went to American University for my MFA...and I returned there to teach in 2003. I teach courses on academic and creative writing, as well as a seminar focused on the problem of evil. As a poet, my work tends to hang out in these shared hallways—the odd meeting places of parenting and death and science and religion and nature. I hope you enjoy some of my work (linked below).
